The Château d'Og at night time

Welcome to Château d'Og, a British owned chambre d'hôtes offering luxury B&B accommodation in the Poitou-Charentes region of France.

For just 55 € per suite per night with breakfast included, come and sample the friendly and convivial hospitality of the owners, Alan and Diane, who have been restoring the Château d'Og back to its former glory.

Located in the Deux-Sèvres just to the south of Niort, Château d'Og provides an ideal base for exploring the surrounding area.

This splendid property, built around 1880 in a village near Niort, has been renovated to a high standard throughout and retains many beautiful architectural features.

The Marais Poitevin (Green Venice), the ports and islands of the Vendée and Charente Maritime, the Puy du Fou plus many other places of interest for tourists are within easy reach.

The accommodation consists of owners' lounge, bedroom with ensuite bathroom and circular kitchen, with, on the other side of the impressive hall, guests lounge, circular dining room and breakfast kitchen with large games room adjacent.

Upstairs are four guest suites: two with two bedrooms and their own bathrooms, two with family rooms with ensuite bathrooms.

Outside is a pretty terrace and the easily maintained shady gardens.
